Salma Is One Jump Ahead Of Pantone

As I was reading about Marsala, Pantone's color of the year, something struck me as familiar. "Isn't that the color I had on last week?", I asked myself. Here are the pictures. You can be the judge.

I think they are pretty darn close. This is My Favorite Nail Lacquer (yes, that is it's name) by Salma Hayek's Nuance. I was going to describe it as a mahogany but now I think I will call it Marsala. This polish can look darker, which would make it a dead on ringer. 

Adding A little extra for the holidays.

Nail Art using MFNL and Nuance's Goldstone. Goldstone is now my favorite gold by leaps and bounds. It just has this incredible rich look of molten gold. As far as I am concerned, this is a "have to get" from her collection (but remember, I am a gold fanatic).

I then added double lines using Strip Rite's #98566.

Nuance is sold exclusively at CVS. It is one of the very few cruelty free drugstore brands not made in China.  Milani (which is now Leaping Bunny certified) is the only other that comes to mind (which CVS also carries). And I think Hard Candy and Salon Perfect, only found at Wall-Mart are the other two that I can think of.

I got MFNL and Goldstone at a buy one and get the next for 50%. For the quality, that makes a pretty good deal.

So what do you think? Are my eyes playing tricks on me? I think it is pretty close and I love this color or I would not have payed money for it.
