I think this post is a turning point in my blogging life. I have had plenty of turning points since 2009. That is when I first starting blogging on Meadowtree. What started out to be a gateway for me to practice my photography actually became three different venues.
It's time to return to my roots. I will always love polish and will always consider it part of my overall style. But it is not an end to itself. At my age I want to do other things. I will return to B'nails occasionally, when I need to post photo for my Pinterest boards.
So here goes. This is Study In Black and Grey #1. These are the accessories that I wore to the symphony last weekend.
KOCO's Set In Stone, a darker grey creme.
For the symphony, I added some top glitter with Salon Perfect's Black Diamond.

Hello, and how is everyone today? I have a very jewel tone mani today. It was created to join the WNAC2015 challenge on Instagram. I have no idea what WNAC stands for. Does anybody know? Please tell me if you do!
So getting back to the challenge. The months theme is jewel tone colors and the last challenge of the month is plaid.
Nail Art Nation's is also having a theme of lines for September. And plaid is nothing but a pattern of lines. So I am also using this as another line mani. Two birds with one stone, as they say!
The base polish is Man Eater by Ruby White Tips.
The wide dark grey/blue stripe is Josephine by Julep.
The small black stripes are Black Ink by Salon Perfect. However I did not use their stripper brush-used my own.
The gold lines are in my every faithful Stripe Rite gold and I did use their brush. I love Stripe Rite's brushes.
Finally, the glitter topper is Lobster Party by Lynnderella.

Today's post is a roundup of the my nails from July.
I started the month out with OPI's Elephantastic Pink layered with Rainbow Honey's Hanami. This was the only Throwback Thursday I did for the month.
Then it was time for a July 4th design. Took this quick pic with my Iphone.
They are both Zoya (Liberty and Red Door Red).
Next, I used some of my Zoya's Pixie Dusts. This is Stevie.
Time for the Hobby Polish Bloggers July Link Up. This month it was Starry Night Sky.
I decideded to try some of my Salon Perfects. I really didn't care for their quality to much although I really like these two colors; Bellini and
Flamingo Flair.
Next came some free brushing with Signet Nails. Lauren closed shop which was very sad for me. I love her polishes.
A chalkboard design using Signet Nails again. This polish was graphite infused. Totally cool in my eyes. One of the more original ideas I've seen. Those are yoga poses if you can tell.
A gradient, yes, using Signet Nails.
Next, I went back to wearing a Pixie Dust. This is Arabella.
The last mani of the month was another Signet Nail one. This time I used Witches In Stitches and Violet Femme.

Today, I have a mani that shows how two very bright colors can temper each other. I guess this is my Monday Mani, because it is Monday and I still have this one on.
The base of this design is Blaze by Mineral Fusion. Blaze is part of a three piece Radiant Orchid Mini Set that I got from Mineral Fusion last winter.
The lines were painted on with Salon Perfect's 806 Pretty In Pink from their nail art line that sells for $1.98 at Wall-Mart.
This is the part of color theory that is interesting to me (o.k., it's all really interesting to me) because you can get new colors by just what you put them next to. The orange really tempers the pink down. Don't get me wrong, it is still a very bright mani.
That's it for this post. I wore this mani all weekend and still have it one. I may take it off in a couple of days. I really have enjoined wearing this one.

It's finally here, the May Link-up for my Hobby Polish Bloggers group. The theme this month is may flowers.
To create this I used Mrs. Robinson by Color Club, Purple Petal by Salon Perfect, Seche Vite topcoat and my Molotow white acrylic pen.
Just the nails.
I took my idea from a shirt that I got on clearance
at the end of last season. I didn't stay with the pink coral and
smoothed out the edges of the flowers, but the general idea is there. The little finger was just to small to get the amount of flower petals I wanted so WaaaLaa...a butterfly was born!
Two views of just Mrs. Robinson. This is a neon magenta with a satin finish. My design does have a glossy topcoat.

Well, the wedding has come and gone. My baby is married. We worked on nail ideas earlier this summer and this is what she decided on.
I am sharing two nails from the wedding. The
first is Rachelle's, the bride. And I am proud to say she did them
herself. I can't show you the polishes because, although mine, they
are at their apartment and they are in the Dominican Republic for their
honeymoon.
